One last note on Canadian energy trusts. They are changing the rules on liability with Canadian royalty trusts probably this summer. Alot of pension funds have been reluctant to invest in them for that reason. Since, if you invest in them you are purchasing an equity stake you could be liable if the trust went belly up. I think alot of rich pension funds will be interested in the 20% dividends if that risk was taken away. One last note: I think with all the money coming into the coffers of the big multinationals right now, hopefully the smaller e&p companies will get swallowed up.
