i doubt michael moore will suffer from his political stance...he has a niche , he plays to that and will continue to have acceptance within that realm. (in fact, i'm sure he is developing an even greater following in france <vbg>)

the thing i find interesting is the apparent alarm that robbins and sarandon express at a populace willing to tell them that their views are not appreciated (for what they are worth) and are willing to in essence to "silence" them...(according to robbins)

first and foremost they are "entertainers".....and that people are generally not easily entertained by those whom the broader audience finds repugnance in their views.

no question about their acting abilities, yet there are many, many good actors out there that do not carry the excess baggage of placing upon the audience the added burden of having to "overlook" a visceral dislike for their politics .
