I follow the company rather closely. Flares of moderate to severe dry eye are very clearly correlated with flares of gut inflammatory disease. The product is clearly going to have a tough time of it with penetration, but it should go deep. I think it's a sleeper. OTOH, the price now has some "sleeper" built in.

There are actually two drugs approved for Sjogren's syndrome, which causes both dry mouth and dry eyes. I'd guess Sjogren's is in fact the predominant cause of dry eyes. OTOH, neither of the two existing drugs (MGI's Salagen and Daichii's Evoxac) are all that effective.
