Bush went to the UN because the American people wanted him to go to the UN. At first he had no intention. And when he finally decided to go, he sabotaged the process by stating it was his way or the highway.

With Bush it was about results not process. If the UN would back his vision of achieving results then he would have loved to have had their support. But when they didn't he showed that he didn't really care about their current desire for how the process would go.

And frankly, I am getting very tired of hearing that we need to boycott the products of every country that doesn't agree with us. Its getting to be a joke.

I agree.

Tim

Ted, <And frankly, I am getting very tired of hearing that we need to boycott the products of every country that doesn't agree with us. Its getting to be a joke.>

That's for sure. Just bought a new BMW 325i two weeks ago. Good deal (considering Beamer dealers don't give much room for dealing in the first place), plus good finance rate, 2.9% APR. Love the car.

Maybe I ought to change my handle to 'gotta_bmw'? ;-)
