Suspected Al Qaeda woman associate detained in Pakistan

Washington: A Pakistani-born woman with suspected links to the Al Qaeda terror network has been arrested in Pakistan, sources reported Tuesday.

Aafia Siddiqui, 31, is featured on the Federal Bureau of Investigation's list of people it would like to question in connection with its terrorism probes, daily Khaleej Times online reported quoting foreign media resources.

Siddiqui, who lived in Boston, Massachusetts before her disappearance, has studied biology at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and Brandeis University.

Citing an unidentified senior administration official, the medias aid the woman is elieved to be a facilitator, who helped Al Qaeda
move money around the world but did not actually belong to the
organization.
An FBI official refused to confirm or deny the report.
