I respectfully disagree with your both of your points.

It's been proven that Saddam supported Al Queda. See, e.g. terrorist training camps, funds to terrorists, funds to Al Queda controlled charities, funds to suicide bombers.

I also disagree that Iraq is a more dangerous place than it was a month ago. It's clear that before our liberation the Iraqi people were subject to murder, torture, rape, etc., by the regime and that has been stopped.

You are basing your opinions on a few protests, well-organized by some mullahs looking to grab power. Even with that, Iraq is safer today than it was before our liberation.

1. There is not enough evidence either way to conclude whether or not Saddam was implicated in 9/11.

2. Removal of a brutal, repressive and destablizing regime in Iraq with ties to international terror organizations like Hamas, Abu Nidal group, etc.....makes the US safer as terror and terror organizations pose a direct threat to US and US vital interests.

3. Iraq is not any more dangerous today than it was pre war, especially if you do not see eye to eye with Hussein....

The ties between Iraq, Al Qaeda and terrorism are extensive and well documented.

• Intelligence shows a pattern of contacts between Iraq’s intelligence agents and high level representatives of Al-Qaeda going back more than a decade.

• We know of a meeting between Ayman Al Zawahiri and Saddam Hussein in 1993.

• In the two years prior to 9/11 we know that Iraqi intelligence officers traveled to Afghanistan several times to meet with Zawahiri.

• In the Al-Qaeda camps in Afghanistan, we found evidence in written documents, which has been corroborated, that Iraqi intelligence agents helped Al-Qaeda in its search for and experiments with chemical weapons.

• We know that a senior member of Al-Qaeda named Zarqawi went to Baghdad after escaping Afghanistan with a number of other Al Qaeda members.

• We know that Al Qaeda members used the Salman Pak terrorist training camp.

• In the Ansar al-Islam camp in the Northeastern part of Iraq, we found evidence of direct contacts with Al-Qaeda

• Al Qaeda is a main finance source for Ansar Al Islam

• We know he supports Hamas

• We know he is (was) harboring Abu Abas

• We know he paid the families of suicide bombers in Israel.

(After) the war, we have found more evidence, based on what Iraqi scientists are saying, which is that they were providing assistance to Al Qaeda

Did Iraq plan or have knowledge of 9/11? Unknown.
Did Iraq support Al Qaeda? Without Question.
Did Iraq support Terrorism? Without Question.
