Show me where he stomped on anyone's rights... The Patriot Act, CAPPS II, the insane war on drugs, just to name a few examples for starters. Yes, terrorism is a serious issue, but I consider the governmental attacks on our privacy a more serious issue. You don't need a sledgehammer to kill a flea, and giving the government the power to snoop through my bank account, emails, and other private matters is a path down a slippery slope to somewhere that's not the "Land of the Free" anymore, IMO.
