Thanks Jacob.......I see the logic of your argument.

The difference between the US and a dictatorship like SH's is so obvious to me. It must be so narrow to think others should see what I see? That is what I meant by naive.

Most Americans have so little tolerance for pain and suffering of the innocent and helpless that we forget we look like a bully trying to end it.

I wonder how much longer the US can afford to do this? I would think the US has to withdraw most of them by the baby boomers retire in waves, and that won't be too long, another 15 years or so.
