Frankly, I think our folks are walking near land mines. As I said, I think our folks are doing well there...certainly in the month they've been there.

BUT the folks that live in Iraq have been there for centuries, and haven't figured out how to get along yet. I'm not sure how we can expect they would in one month do anything different than they have for all those centuries.

It would be nice to expect that they would be grateful that for the first time in MANY years, they are free to be able to go to their sacred places ....without fighting. It would also be nice to expect there might be a bit of gratitude to those who helped make that possible.

Of course, maybe it is too much to expect that people behave in a civil manner.

I have less confidence in our ability to manage the political side.

No way to know in advance, is there, Steve? But our crowd are smart, tough, people, not starry eyed types. Mistakes will be made, and a lot of hollering will go on in the media and here. Two years from now, we will know. If we are going to do this, I can't think of anybody else I would want to have running it.
