Hi elmat, Macao took some early precautions and has so far been OK on SARS. Matters may turn drastic and worse, and if it does, de-camp via boat trip to Philippines; or land trip to mainland China, Burma, hop across to India or Sri Lanka, then catch sea plane to Maldives;0)

An assistant of my wife's just reported that her residential building has a reported case of SARS, and she herself is in self-quarantine.

I have told my staff to self-quarantine if anyone in their building catches SARS.

My niece in Chicago area reports that a training coach sub-contracted to her company has come down with SARS.

The disease is making headway towards me. I can no longer say I do not know anyone who knows someone with SARS.
