I inquired on the Weiss high priced picks in late 2001 he liked Nikkei index option puts in a big big way I teased them, calling repeatedly, expressing interest just to pick their brains one day a nice woman revealed the option picks she said they reco'd laddered puts over time meaning... puts at a given level expiring on cascading months I followed that series of picks until spring 2002 they all lost bigtime the major element to the loss with time decay not price erosion of the derived Nik225 the Delusion of the Day back then was economic recovery via patriotism following the WTC attack and unprecedented Fed infusions ($40B on a single day) we were brimming with patriotism, confidence, resilience, and pride back then it carried over into Japan, stemming any big declines / jim
