How does the vix in freefall support the bullish case?

You didn't post the deeply oversold RSI on your chart. Even without it, the stochastics are completely washed out.

The vix will rise after it stops falling. And that is bearish for the market. Maybe not quite immediately but it will be soon. It's that simple.

I think we need to find some rising support lines that may be in play connecting through the 18.87 low last year.

I should add that the short term vix situation is not comparable with the longer term bullish case you're trying to make with the A-D line. If anything, they are painting completely opposite pictures.
