Yes, they usually have to come in to do some repair work. By your logic, then, confiscating all income and having everyone on the government dole would create full employment and a perfect economy? Simply say you prefer socialism with a centrally planned economy and I'll at least respect your position--MK--

Isn't it wonderful how well the Republican's do their job when they are handed a spent economy. They work very hard to turn the ship and have done so in every instance. If a democrap didn't have term limits then it would be very bad on the economy. But since the people voted GW into office he was able to keep things from completely turning over. He has been able to keep the economy from going into a depression after the drunken Clinton years. Recessions are not bad. Depressions are what are bad.

In my community we have home lots that have been vacant for years all of the sudden popping up with new houses. We have new restaurants opening all over. We have new shopping malls going in and new highways being built. All of my neighbors that were laid off found jobs equal or better than the ones they had. The past weekend, two friends of mine told me that their companies had hired "head hunters" to search out good people for them. Their companies are starting to hire back more and more people. One asked why the company wasn't calling the ones they laid off back to work. The answer he got was that those people that were laid off where not the best at what they did and that is why they were let go.

That is what has happened all over the place, companies have trimmed the fat and will prosper for it. That will make our economy more efficient and much stronger.

The world is a better place thanks to George Bush!
