Neocons. Literally these are self described as disillusioned liberals who took up conservatism with a vengence. A Net definition: Neoconservative – A "neocon" is more inclined than other conservatives toward vigorous government in the service of the goals of traditional morality and pro-business policies. Tends to favor a very strong foreign policy of America as well. lewrockwell.com I generally use it to include the group of William Kristol, Grover Norquist, Rumsfeld, Cheney, Wolferitz, Karl Rove and other like minded opportunitsts of the right.
