Schumer: Iraq Oil Production Could Lower Gas Prices
1010wins.com
(1010 WINS) (Binghamton, N.Y.) U.S. Senator Charles Schumer says increased oil production in Iraq could lead to a reduction in gasoline prices.

The New York Democrat says he hopes the amount of Iraqi oil available for the world market will rise significantly.

Schumer told a Binghamton radio station this morning that while those who buy gasoline stand to benefit from lower prices, the oil revenue can be used to help pay for rebuilding Iraq.
