Silicon Valley is stuck kowtowing to politicians that shouldn't be involved in matters like this. If it were not for the ability of the Silicon Valley business lobbies to purchase political favor from Washington pols, the Financial Accounting Standards Board (FASB) would have begun requiring companies to expense stock options on the income statements ten years ago. So I agree completely; politicians should stay out of this and let the FASB do its job, but it wouldn't be the result you want. Message 17249383 Regards, Huey
