I'm sure you would state the same if the economy was humming. The GOP claimed Reagan created the boom of the 90's -- forgetting that we had the second worse recession in between he and Clinton. When the conomy faltered during Bush I -- they blamed DEM controlled congress. When economy was humming under Clinton -- they credited Newt and the "contract with some Americans" Now that they control both houses and the Prez -- they claim that they have "little or no control over such matters" -JH
