Like what?

Beyond Sparc they made a copy of Unix (lost that momentum to Linux), took the next logical step in interpreted languages (lost that momentum to C#), spent $2bln to innovate in the PC server space (just plain lost it on that one)...

Pssst, I'll give you a free tip. If MSFT completely disappeared tomorrow, SUNW would still be heading down the tube. They're unsuccessfully flip flopping around trying to reinvent a business "plan" (or lack thereof) that's no longer relevant. They need to find a new CEO who doesn't let his emotions rule his business decisions, either that, or sell the company to someone who can make it profitable again... You're welcome.
