Dow and S&P rally largely built on Fed Stimulus package that is my opinion and the package might indeed breed a few months of business but so many other new factors offset and cancel the benefits like higher state taxes like SARS in Asia like job losses escalating exhaustion of real estate exhaustion of car sales high debt levels for households we will see if anything becomes permanently changed in the tax structure or whether we just see Congressional cash drops to households my guess is the ineffective latter which only brings about a temporary effect just like tax refunds in 2001 fast forward 4 months, and resume the stock & economic declines they reneged on the dividend change since the popular prevailing thinking is to keep the spending machines running at the consumer level, we will undoubtedly see stimulus to maintain the same empty-headed spending patterns and increased debt goes hand in hand with such promotions man oh man, does this country's economist pool have its head up its ass ??? / jim
