Has anybody done any extensive studies on SP futures gaps?

Like when do they reverse and when they continue for daytrades... I have a system that I plan on back testing but would like to add filters before I test.

PM me if you wish...

I'm curious, which was worse? March or January 2002? I recall January was more extreme, but maybe that was over a shorter period of time (4-5 days).

Are we havin' fun yet? Didn't get to see a tick today. NDX 1162, which is still a good ways from here, and I'll be happy that 'big C' has done its minimum business.

What fantastic breakouts we see everywhere on the L-T weeklies. They will/should show more follow-through. Gives one some pause about shorting in the next couple of weeks. If one were to only read TA books, one would not short here or anytime soon. -g/ng

Hope folks here made some money long for the breakouts on the smaller charts -- like dailies for the last month or so -- particularly the nice NDX breakout over the NDX DT out of Dec 2.

Hope to get some time Friday to watch some intraday action.

Until then... Cheers, Allan
