DEMOCRATS WORKING FOR MORE JOBS LOSSES I’ll remind you of this every time I think of it. Democrats are dead set against Bush getting any meaningful tax cuts through congress. Democrats can read the economic history books as well as anybody, and they know that the most certain way to spur additional economic growth is to allow people to keep more of the money that they earned to invest and to spend. It's all a matter of goals. Right now George Bush wants to see the economy grow. Among other reasons, he knows that it would help his reelection chances. The Democrats want continued sluggishness in the economy for the same reason. They know that anything else would harm their chances of electoral victory next year. In short, Democrats will work to intentionally sabotage any plan that would cause our economy to grow in order to have a slow economy to blame on George Bush next year. boortz
