Used to be true, not anymore...

The higher end SLRs in digital have changeable lenses from what i hear. They're pricy though...being 1.5K-3K. I think they'll come down over the next 2 years....

We have a DC4800 from Kodak. I think it costs 500+ these days...functional, good resolution but i don't like it except for quick outdoor pictures in perfect conditions......

The features in the <$1000 digital cameras are not very good...and it shows if the subject is in less than perfect environment...
