<< Oh btw, how come we could protect the oil ministry building from looters but could not protect humankind's unique cultural history? >>

Because oil feeds Iraqi children and pictures of camels pissing on hobos with diapers on their heads doesn't.

I think the troops were more concerned with killing the enemy than worrying about any thing else. That's what soldiers do, you know. Or don't you. Besides, the loot was long gone by the time the Coalition troops had subdued the area, and the oil ministry was put on guard long after the major fighting was over. And if that museum was so god-damn important, and it was, why didn't the Iraqis or the f*****ing French or Russians or Germans or Saudis or Syrians or some Demorats or Kerry protect it. l'll tell you why. It was an inside job. Doors and vaults opened with keys. No looting here until after the treasures were gone. Take your blame America first bs elsewhere.
