Note the dates of these "requests" by Arafat. Where was he when bin Laden was talking about these issues in 97? Arafat just wants to make sure he is not lumped with bin Laden. To say that I dislike bin Laden and his ilk is the understatement of the century. But that is nothing compared to how I feel about Arafat. The man is pure garbage, imo and that doesn't say much for people who agree to be led by him.
