Bush used tax-payer money to liberate oil-fields for his cronies. I hate to be cynical, but that is definitely a major part of the "program" here. Tax-payers will never get reimbursed either. And turns out Saddam was no credible threat to us at all. W're glad he's out but at 100 billion? Pretty expensive to get rid of one tinpot dictator.
