The link is only missing if someone is so blinded by their politics, that they refuse to look. Abu Sayyaf admits receiving money from Iraq to kill Americans - and you call it "not much of a link, if it exists". What makes you think the CIA can't come up with any evidence? Why do you think, when America first targeted OBL, they went after Al Qaida and Abu Sayyaf (their Philippine Branch)? Even President Clinton's CIA director sees a link between Iraq, and terrorism against Americans.
