no code problem here. no insurance problem either. put up some tile over hardy board and chance of fire is reduced to that of a home model. no biggie. want a nice hood for it cheap..... PM me <g> enough cfm's you'll never wipe grease off your ceiling again. sized right, no impact on your hvac costs either. 1/4 the cost of those fancy grease trapping squirell cage designs..... or even less. the shlock being sold to the upper end is quite amazing. hang and play.
