True, but not a good sign (and I speak here from a bit of personal experience). When I was growing up in Poland in the sixties and the seventies, the only place where one could find any form form political commentary that corresponded to reality was in comedy clubs. But then we also had a weatherman who used to signal the location of Russian missiles to the CIA, on national television, by placing little mushrooms on the map Poland. I think they finally figured it out and me might have been executed, but not before he did some real damage. Poor fellow....
