Isn't it usually spelled Ahuru Mazda? And I thought the Zoroastrian were dualists, with Ahuru Mazda and Ahriman being equals.

I'm guessing that you are not a Parsi. If that is the case, you don't know what is worshipped in the Parsi fire temple, because you are not allowed to go in if you're not Parsi. I have many Parsi friends in India and other places. They always have a candle or similar flame burning 24 hours a day, typically alongside a portrait of Zarathustra (in their homes).
