Nah. There's no policy change, it's only the markets doing their job.

There IS a policy change - no more "strong dollar policy".

Take a look at Fed Governor Bernanke's Nov 2002 speech, and tell me if that shows a policy change or not.

The only way I favor the decline in currency is if it is happening because we are buying out outside companies. I do not like it when it happens because others are pulling out of US. In other words a decline is good when it is grounded on foreign growth and it is not good when it is rooted in negative vote on US.

Yes, if USD falls 50% overnight, then the world will start investing in US and eventually bring things back up. Somehow I don't find that prospect appealing.
