Talked to a friend who works in a metal stamping plant which mostly does work for Nissan. Nissan sent out a memo saying they curtailing orders due to a large inventory of unsold cars in the US. The memo said they have 385,000 unsold cars on US lots. I don't know what their normal inventory is, but it sure sounds like they have a lot of product to move.

Ford has huge discounts on all their money products right now. The accounting miracle is all those vehicles were recorded as sold profitably when they rolled off the line. Ho Ho Ho
