You really don't think so? From what I've been reading, that's exactly what some of the Iraqis are saying about our intentions in their country. That we're there for their oil. That's what the Iranians said as we supported the Shah over the years. As crazy as it might sound to a lot of ethnocentric Americans, the whole world does not see things the same way that we see things.
