What's baseless? Where are the WMD's and Al Qaida connections? That was the whole reason Bush said we were going to invade. Now Bushies are trying to change that to human rights, saying WMD's no longer matter. BS.

Right-wing neocons have never made human rights a priority. They were actively against going into Kosovo. In fact, they were supporting Saddam when he was at his worst, back in the 80's. That's when the big slaughters took place. And Rumsfield was there supplying them with arms, and reportedly even chemicals. Now, the reason moderates allowed Bush to go to war was we gave him the benefit of the doubt on Saddam being a threat to America. But as it turned out, Saddam wasn't a threat to anyone but his own people. And now those people may be a threat to us if we try to colonize that place and keep at least half their oil. Which is exactly what Bushies want to do, despite their denials.
