I haven't been to a hockey in years ,, since Black Hawk days in 80's... then I get tickets to Bruins and Flyers from my wife. So my son and i go down to the game.. What changes. They take breaks.. Wait for tv advertisements. I went home and told her not buy anymore tickets. but i did enjoy the games Sat., Mon. and Tues night..
Still a little different from fighting with sticks, no helmets, no face masks. No one coming out on the ice with a scraper to get the blood off the ice.
Was that the good old days...
Remember when half the players couldn't skate.. Horvack high goal scorer for Bruins.. sat on the goalie as soon as Esp.fire he would tip it in. Then we had Willie O'Rea fast skater but couldn't stop some times and would run into the boards.. and topperzi? It took him so long to get up and down ice sometimes I never thought he would make it.. He looked like he was skating on his ankles.
