But, we're talking about the plane that hit DC. Perhaps they scrambled in a timely manner to try to intercept the plane that hit the South tower of the WTC. But, the response in the DC situation, over an hour after the first WTC tower was hit, was unacceptable. Why didn't NORAD scramble planes to protect DC at the same time that:

8:40 a.m.) Major Daniel Nash (codenamed Nasty) and Lt. Col. Timothy Duffy (codenamed Duff) are the two F-15 pilots who would scramble after Flight 11

Wasn't the Pentagon stuck at 9:40 AM? That is my problem with our government's response on 9/11. CASE OPEN!

That site you gave me is very interesting. Thanks! It only adds to the conspiracy theories surrounding 9/11 though. It's seems as if the authors of that site are also very suspicious of the government's response to 9/11 and their unwillingness to scramble planes in a timely manner.
