A sin against Christ... I doubt he existed, as only four guys wrote about him, each professing to have been eye witness to more than one hundred miracles. Collectively they claim 232 miracles, if I remember, but it could be "only" 132. And I can't trust people who tell me they saw miracles, even one; especially Jews, they are the worst on that subject. The most I'd go for is a few unexplained coincidences. In a long life, that is. And since it's all so unbelievable, the system had to create a police of the mind with a "Infaillibile Papa" at its top... and that's when the problems started... Even Spinoza has to be careful, and stay in Holland.
