KT, I got a 2nd mortgage offer in the mail this week that said I could take out up to 150% of home value. Now I just need to find the brokerage with the minimum margin requirements and I'll be set. <g> My sister just financed her new home at 100% w/no PMI thanks to a 2nd mortgage for the 20% down payment. Why didn't they think of loans for down payments before? <g> She said it won't matter that they will have no equity at first, because they aren't making more land, so it will be appreciating like crazy!
