Frankly, I think if Iraqis had free elections, they'd probably vote Sadaam back in office....or someone equally objectionable! Be careful what you wish for.....<NG>

There was a Iraqi exile interviewed a few weeks back. Fairly intelligent fellow. He basically said that Iraqis are ungovernable. Scary thought. I hate to say it, but unless we use underhanded techniques, such as wacking out a few of the radical leaders, instilling some proUS strong man, this place will fall to the most brutal guys out there. A little bribery wouldn't hurt either. BTW, I could care less about the way the Arab world perceives us. They hate us no matter what we do.
