You dont listen to a word I post. Why dont we just agree to disagree? Some Bushies are beyond redemption. We'll just see in 2004. Let's stop wasting each others' time.

The "regime change" speech was very smart and put Kerry solidly ahead in the Democratic field. Democrats want Bush out. They want a fighter. They want a winner. They want someone tough and fearless. What they dont want is someone politically correct who lets Bush control the time and place where one can speak out.

Bushies's war smoke-screen and character attacks on anyone daring to critique them has been a deliberate strategy meant to silence opposition. By speaking out against Bush strongly, Kerry showed he will never back down from ripping Bush a second you-know-what no matter what Bushies tricks and smnoke-screens are being used. Ever since that speech, notice Kerry is being talked about as the presumed nominee. That wasn't really the case before.

Today for instance, the LA Times ran a big story about Democrats making speeches. The headline was all "Kerry" never mentioned any of the others. Even O'Reilly and Hannity are admitting Kerry is the man to beat.

So you see, sometimes what appears to be reckless is actually smart. Bush was also reckless going into Iraq without a true coalition. But at least in terms of the invasion itself, he was smart, most people think. So you see, it works for both of them. Sometimes to differentiate yourself, you have to dare to be politically incorrect and piss the opposition off.

If the 2004 election was all about Iraq War victory, Bush would easily win. Bush's problem is he's going to lose on every other issue right down the line. Because he has failed on all of them. If you dont believe that, name one issue he has succeeded on besides foreign wars? Anything?
