The only ones I've run across who don't display symptoms of an acute panic attack are those who watch little or no TV. It isn't like they don't care or are gullible, it's more like they just fall apart and couldn't talk about it if they wanted to. No conspiracy theory, just an anecdotal account of recent personal experiences from a limited test sample.
