Thanks, Peter. In viewing the MeshNetworks Inc. document at...

ieee802.org

.. what comes to mind is the possible reticence that some (many?) users might have in allowing other users' flows traverse their notebooks/laptops/phones due to security concerns. It almost seems anathema to how we regard security today to permit/accept flows from unknown sources, whether regenerated and pass-though, or not. Has there been much discussion on this aspect of meshing, or am I just being my same old paranoid self?

Peter,

Would you, or anyone else on this thread know if IEEE 802.20 is shared spectrum? I was under the impression it was not - consquently, 802.20 might provide a potentially significant paradyme shift in wireless & wired world. However, if the spectrum is not assigned & allocated by the F.C.C., then it would might ultimately grow into a merely cordless phone alternative.

Thanks in advance......SB
