Screw these C's, unless it is w/r to a cup, where I only fondle with the D's.

On the other hand the B's try harder, so I am told. Thank my lucky stars never had the experience. I never lie, just like Slick Willie.

Heading north to polar bear country, very soon. In pickup truck full of gold bullion, plus pan, pick, shovel and bag of beans.

About f'en time.

Searching for more ole yeller stuff and them other things bears love.

Maybe this is inappropriate, I won't let it happen again for a long time. Once in a while gotta let off steam. Oil field trash talk filthy most of time, regardless of sex, get tired of writing clean.

Cianora.

<<hoping YOU could solve it, >>

First....a word of advice......don't ever look for me to solve ANYTHING....

But a few more stray thoughts about BKX 800...........Looking at the largest 8 components of that index - accounting for about 73% weighting of the total - 4 have exceeded their Jan 13 highs ( the day the BKX hit its last high of 800.71), while 4 are still below their Jan 13 levels............so we're about evenly divided... except that the 4 ups include C and BAC which together account for about 37% of total index............

More on BKX........Just noticed this bit by John Roque on realmoney.com:

*
<<Financials are strong. Plainly and simply, the financials are the market's bodyguard. As long as they remain firm, the market will be well insulated. My proxy for the financial sector is the Philadelphia Stock Exchange/KBW Bank index, and while there's definite resistance for the BKX at the 800 level, the strength in the financial sector as a whole tells me that index will work above 800. A corollary to the BKX moving above 800 is Citigroup (C:NYSE - news - commentary - research - analysis) moving above its resistance at $40. I figure this will also happen.>>

.....meanwhile.......BKX down 16 right now.......

Since the thread is not too busy right now............lunch in the East, coffee break (or baby's bottle?) in the West.......just a few more stray thoughts on BKX.....(just holler when you've had enough)

I give heavy weight to RSI and MACD in my musings, so just thought I'd note that both have been in clear uptrends since Feb 12, and both reached post-Dec highs day before yesterday............and still have not reached overbought heights......
