Gustave,

There are biblical scholars, archaeologists and skeptics of various ilks that have found inconsistencies in the Old Testament, the New Testament, the Koran and a score of other religious treatises.

Religiously, I happen to be a skeptic. I am inclined to the view that these religious books are semi-historical in nature. Part fact, part fiction.

But, I have no problem with people who believe their books to be the word of God. So long as they don't inflict their theology on me or use their religion to justify violence acts I can honor and respect their beliefs.

So Guss,

If Jersusalem is so unimportant to Muslims, why all the beef for a little worthless former piece of sand?

A land with few resources, not even Belgian chocolate, used by Arab shieks, mullahs, and tyrants as a unifying source.

Without Israel, they'd all be killing each other.
