I like the "Bad Boys." They make life interesting.

You must have loved Bill Clinton...

Gingrich is a smart as they come, with a great sense of History.

Not really. He, apparently, reads a lot (witness the number of Amazon reviews credited to him), can put quotes from his readings in speeches, and tries to get a large picture. At the large picture level, he's not bad. But as for smarts, he's been taken to the cleaners politically so many times, that judgment is seriously questionable.

Apparently, he had more smarts when he was in opposition than when he was in power.
