hey Reap.....dem Royals look like outside the computer forecast this year to me-g

Need only to play .500 ball for next hundred games or so...then 22-18 rest of year, there's your 90 wins...that's doable from here, certainly.

Of course, the wheels could fall off (young arms burn out, major injuries), but these guys remind me of '91 Braves more than anyone else still. Too bad for them the-best-team-that- money-can-buy-Yankees may be better than '98 version...regardless a division title, or even competing for one (I think 94/95 wins can do it this year) will be quite an turnaround/accomplishment....Just think if Royals had an extra 20m to add a pitcher/hitter at the break....ah, but us small market fans digress..

If Harvey go 20-80 this year, their middle 5 (Randa, Sweeney, Beltran, Ibanez, Harvey) I think are as good as most in AL, and their defense is above average too (I think). I guess it all comes down to the young arms holding up, and no injuries. They need to use Relsiford as their lead off guy, and put Tucker on bench.

So far, so good-g. I love the way they never seem to quit...
Soriano looks like NYs Alex Rodriguez to me...

re: Markets. I see wheels falling off real soon (if not already)....
