"Why must we argue about events from hundreds and even thousands of years ago? What is the point?

Do you mean you are against the Zionist Jews claiming Israel on a so-called "biblical deed" going back 4000 years? So Jews from around the world begin colonizing Palestine based on the rabbinical understanding that Palestine belongs to the modern rabbinical Jews forever based on 4000 year old events. Maybe you should attempt to harmonize these contrary opinions. When it benefits the Jews, you want to dig up and use old past events, but when it the Palestinians or Christians do the same, you cry: "Why must we argue about events from hundreds and even thousands of years ago".
