Only engineering school I know of is my alma mater
stonybrook.edu
but that's a state university!
I haven't gotten to the college search quite yet - my oldest is 12 - not too far off though.
Good luck, with those grades I'm sure he'll get into wherever he wants. Just tell him to keep his wise hands off your computer! LOL

know of any good engineering schools??

There are a lot of them, in many parts of the country. If I started naming some I would miss a lot of good ones. The better known ones are extremely competitive. For just a taste:

web.mit.edu

SAT exams were adjusted a few years ago to raise the average by approximately 100 (combined) points. I don't know what that has done to the number of 1400+ achievers, but I'm sure you have the percentile rankings for your son's scores on his test reports.

The big name schools have a lot of prestige, but they are not right for everyone. There are a lot of places that have excellent academic programs and turn out a lot of well trained and capable graduates. Get your son's guidance counselor to work suggesting some places that are a good fit with his personality and other interests.
