TP claimed that aggression and colonialism NEVER had good results. Their are numerous counterexamples.

I think Canada has nothing to fear from the US. The US generally leaves democracies alone. H**l, we haven't whacked France, why would we Canada?

In case you hadn't noticed, in the opinion of some, Canada has already crossed the line:

I see no one suggesting military action, although a boycott has been proposed (which I oppose; Canada has long been a good ally and should be allowed some leeway).

There are also numerous disasters in the colonial area. Britain at one time had much of Africa and tried to leave democracy behind in every one of her colonies there. Currently, 2 African countries can fairly be called democracies.

But a flat statement that aggression and colonialism always have bad results is provably wrong.

I fear for my country Canada, should we cross the line against the US on anything.

You can turn in your panties now, geezus, the stupidity.
