OT-I hope: I was a kid in the 50's too...and never had that kind of dream...9-11 was over the top....but no horrible dreams then. Don't know why it is catching me now.... The really weird thing was, I wasn't afraid for myself. Only for those I cared for and wanted to find them.

My wife is from Grotten, Connecticut. Had a big nuclear bullseye over the sub base and EB. They were teaching kids "duck and cover" right into the 90's. Don't understand what a white sheet pulled over you is supposed to accomplish, other than avert your eyes from your imminent death.
