OK, the markets are even a little too volatile for me right now, the Eminis are at 916. Just incredible. I'm going to chew my ~2% capital loss for the day and take the rest of the day to concentrate on something else. Capital preservation is the name of the game, and I intend to stay in this game for a long, long time.

Futures are not dangerous when you don't leverage yourself too much against them. I can just imagine a poor sucker that shorted 4 EMinis at 908 with 10k equity in his account.. he'd be sitting with a 16% loss of equity. I have no idea how anybody can trade with leverage like that.
